So what’s with branding? We’ve heard the term. But what is it exactly?
Your brand is your verbal and nonverbal communication to everyone; clients, competitors, employees and passers-by. Your brand tells who you are, what you stand for, in essence it connects people to your story. It separates you from the pack. It differentiates you from the other guys.
Your brand is made up of who you are, what you want to be but most importantly what your clients perceive you to be. What do people think of when they think of you? Your brand message must exceed or at least match the customer experience and expectation. Your brand should match the story you tell. Keep the brand promise.
Your brand is promoted in your marketing materials. It can be seen in the design of your logo, and in the quality of your business cards, brochures, website and signage.
